Tales of the Gryphon
A Corellian Gambler and Gunslinger - Captain of The Gryphon
Sage Tymon is your typical Corellian gunslinger and gambler. He has blue eyes, reddish brown hair, flashy clothes and a heavy blaster pistol that he is not afraid to use in a tight situation. If he is ever scruffy looking, it is because he has been at the card tables gambling and drinking Corellian whisky and smoking Corellian cigars for the past 2 or 3 days.
He was doing odd jobs in the Neipas System for the Rebellion. He was at a card game and thought he was going to win big so he threw the pink slip to his ship into the pot and lost it. After that he started working for a Twi’lek named Kat. Then he found out a fellow Corellian named Rath was hiring and was giving a better deal than Kat. He worked for Rath as a transport pilot and hired gun. Then he became friends with Kamahl Smith. They tried to figure a way out to kill Kat and split the ten million credit bounty on her head. Eventually they succeeded in killing her with a toilet bomb.
Over his travels he has made some enemy’s and friends. One friend he has had for a while is Rath, who he found out was a Commander with the Rebels. Working with the Rebels was not a great source of income but creds are creds. And they tend to have some friends in high places. One enemy he came by from working with the Rebels was the Empire. His biggest enemy by far is a Twi’lek crime lord named Ne Dago. After a few of his lowlife street level thugs pulled shivs on him and Kamahl and were shot dead and one of Ne Dago’s mid-level gamblers thought he could beat Sage at a card game and lost Ne Dago put a 100,000 credit bounty on Sages head and 20,000 on Kamahls.
Eventually, Sage assumed leadership of the infamous Phoenix Squadron and led a raid on the shield generator on the Endor moon. While his team suffered heavy losses, the four survivors were promoted and awarded one of the highest medals for bravery in the Rebel Alliance by Admiral Ackbar. Despite an offer to continue serving in the New Republic, Sage decided to pursue more profitable avenues. He took his crew and some volunteers aboard his yacht and set off to find his fortune…
